Frequently asked questions…

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK YOU AS OUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?

Typically 12 months in advance for the best chance of having your date still open.

How do I reserve/book my wedding date?

Along with a signed photography contract, 25% of your total bill serves as a reservation charge, and is required for me to remove your wedding date from my remaining available dates. The balance is due 7 days prior to your wedding date.

HOW LONG DO MY WEDDING PHOTOS USUALLY TAKE BEFORE THEY’RE READY?

During the busy season (June-Nov.) it’s a 4-6 week turnaround guaranteed. However, I often deliver closer to the 4 week mark.

Do you deliver every image you shoot?

Heck, no! I cull out test shots and any images that obvioiusly lessen the overall quality of the set. Nobody wants to see the the half blinks or the sometimes awkward expressions that occur during a split second capture. That said, I do tech to cull loosely, and deliver a large number of images. I understand an image that I might consider common, just might be special to you.

DO WE GET ACCESS TO THE HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGES?

Yes. Whether it’s a wedding or portraiture job I always give you a set of both the high resoltion images, for printing, and web optimized images suitable for social media sharing.

DO WE GET COPYRIGHTS TO THE PHOTOS?

Short answer is no. Copyrights are reservered to the artist/creator of the images. Most people confuse copyrights with print rights/release. You always get print rights to any photo you hire me to create.
